What the Excel converter keeps

Excel to Markdown table API
POST /v1/convert/raw converts the whole workbook. Pick sheets with pages=1,3 and raise the row limit with maxRowsPerSheet (up to your plan's limit).

LLMs read Markdown tables much more reliably than CSV dumps or pasted cells: the header row tells the model which column is which, and every row is on its own line. Converting with Excel's display formats also matters. A model that sees $1,499.50 and 25.0% understands the data; one that sees 1499.5 and 0.25 has to guess.
