How do I export a Google Doc as Markdown?
Share the document with Anyone with the link, paste the link above and click Convert. Google Docs also has a built-in Markdown download for single documents; this converter also handles Sheets, Slides and Drive files, and works through the API.
Does the document have to be public?
It has to be viewable by anyone with the link, because the converter downloads it without signing in to your Google account. It is not listed or indexed anywhere.
Can I convert Google Sheets to a Markdown table?
Yes. Paste the share link of the spreadsheet; every sheet becomes a Markdown table.
Do I need to install an add-on?
